Mercedes-Benz of KC host a Spaßnachten Evening with Owners and Guest!

By Lisa:  Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City held it's once a month Spaßnachten (a fun night out) co-hosted by KH Automotive and Millie's Event Designs.

Extraordinary by any measure, the Mercedes Benz from past to present. The night was buzzing as Mercedes-Benz owners of Kansas City gathered to display their own Mercedes and each car had a story to tell.  The  Spaßnachten MBCA/Kansas City meets every third Monday for a "fun night".  How it works... The MBCA/Kansas City group choose a place and if you would like to have a burger and suds with some Benz folks just show up on the third Monday of every month.  No rules, no program, no pressure, no big deal!

When you and your friends are ready to plan a "fun night out",  contact Millie's Event Designs (913-890-3368) to bring it all together from plans to execution.

Millie’s Event Designs hits home run on Fox 4

By Lisa: Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, MO is the site for this year’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game and Millie’s Event Designs puts you in a front row seat hosting your own All-Star watch party.

One of the most sought after tickets in sports is the MLB All-Star Game.  If you are not one of fortunate ones who already has their ticket for the game, Millie’s Event Designs has some ideas for hosting your own All-Star Game watch party

Summer marks a perfect time to get together with a group of good friends and have a baseball theme party to watch the All-Star game!  When your guests arrive, have them sign an All-Star flag or pennant with a note or just their autograph to create your own piece of All-Star memorabilia.

Root for the Home Team:  Deck guests out in all kinds of team colors with fun accessories like wigs or face paint, just like if everyone was at the game. When the favorite team is behind, guests may need to unwind.  Baseball shaped stress balls are perfect for this and double as a party favor.  Toss them around during nerve-wracking moments or make a game out of it.

Get your hot dogs, over here!  Start up the grill and cook up some park-style dogs.  Be sure to have plenty of cool drinks on hand and other ballpark favorites like peanuts and Cracker Jack’s and it’ll be like having a day in the stands.

To get your guests more engaged in the game’s score, have a pick a square score board (a 100 square board with all possible scoring outcomes).  Either sell the squares for a $1 a piece or offer a prize for the person with the winning square at the end of the game.  To heighten your guest’s suspense, complete the numbers across the top and side through a random drawing from your All-Star ball cap at the start of the game.

Finally, during the 7th inning stretch, have your guests sing along with “Take me out to the ball game”.  And the nicest thing about your watch party?  When the game is over, your guests can head off to home without having to fight that stadium traffic!

So, the next time your party plans call for a home run, think of Millie’s Event Designs as your All-Star!
